Travel to Spain from USA | Rule Change!

The entry requirements to travel to Spain from the USA have changed! The United States of America is now on the exempt list of countries that do not have restrictions to travel to Spain during COVID. The new rule that will allow Americans to visit Spain without having to show proof of vaccination or a negative PCR or antigen test was published in the Official Spanish Gazette (BOE) on June 24th, 2021.

It’s great news for Americans who wanted to travel from the US to Spain this summer and makes planning your trip a bit easier. On June 7th, vaccinated Americans were allowed to travel to Spain by showing proof of vaccination, now they have been added to the 15 country exempt list meaning the only thing you must show is the FCS Health Control form.

How to fill out the FC Form explained:

Remember that to return to the United States a negative PCR or Antigen test is required with 72 hours of the departure flight.

Because rules are constantly changing, I recommend using Travel Safe to stay up to date on requirements before, during, and after your trip:

Here is my video all about how it can help you plan for your trip.

There was a lot of confusion when the rules were changed on June 7th
for vaccinated America, so be aware of a similar situation now.
