NICK JOJO began to play music in 1999 when she first appeared at Banana Moon in Athens. Influenced by legends of the American house scene such as Frankie Knuckles, Masters at Work and Larry Levan as well as techno such as Jeff Mills, Delano Smith and Richie Hawtin, it was inevitable to start with vinyls for up to Today, when computers entered the life of djs, he could only follow this way of the many possibilities offered by technology.
So influenced by the sounds of Tale of us Dixon, Ame, Recondite and Maceo plex if they are To give a “name” to the sound of this time would be the most deep dark house up and techno.
Resident in the biggest clubs of Athens: Balux, Love, Villa Mercedes, Plus X, Venue, Dybbuk, Mamacas Astra (mykonos) Alemagou beach bar etc He also manages and organizes pioneering events and parties such as So Sexy at Cinema, Limousine Service at Venue and Villa Mercedes, Beyond Plus X, Dancemachine kitty cat, “Nuestra musica” Dybbuk and of course the MTV parties in Balux.
He has also appeared in international parties of the MTV Sound System with Campari and at the Puma International Party 2014 of the Puma sportswear company.
JOJO is considered to be one of the most important djs of his time, working with the most prominent names of dance music: Tale of us, Recondite, Dubfire, Dixon, Carl Graig, Deep Dish, Dennis Ferrer, Deboarh de luca, Mathias Kaden, Bart Skill, David Morales, Sasha, Dave Seaman, Martin Lansky Louie Vega, Danny Krivit, Joe Claussell, Timmy Regisford, Osunlade, Joe Negro, Kerry Chandler, Quentin Harris, Blaze, Mateo & Matos
In 2014-15 he was found at NID where he also held his residence.
From the age of 15 until now, jojo is at KITTY CAT, Terraza, and STEAM CLUB where he has his parties and his residency.
In the summer, the summer tours take place all over Greece, having the Astra bar and the Alemagou beach bar in Mykonos.
At the same time, he is working on his own productions, having already made his debut on Making You Dance Records from Miami.
