Saint Lucia yesterday reported a 100 percent COVID-19 recovery rate. As such, there are no confirmed cases of COVID-19 currently in care.
There are now 306 people in quarantine most of whom are nationals repatriated from cruise ships. All persons in quarantine are doing well to date with no symptoms of COVID-19.
The Ministry of Health notes the continuous increase of global cases of COVID-19. So although at a national level we have been able to manage this epidemic we remind everyone of the need to remain cautious and maintain behaviours that will reduce the risk of spreading the virus.
