We talk to Kim Miller about the island of Dominica, her research on tourism, disaster aid, environmental sovereignty, and American imperialism such as Operation Red Dog, a CIA-backed white supremacist invasion attempt in 1981. We also learn about attempts at multipolarity such as Venezuela’s Petro Caribe, China, and continuing Cold War politics, as well as the history of Marxism-Leninism on the island.
