I wrote in my journal last December 2019 that I would move to Mexico. It took months of tears, thankfulness and frustration but today I am finally on my way!
Yes we are in the midst of a pandemic.
Yes, I lost 40k in equity in my home!
Yes, I lost my cleaning company!
Yes, I lost all my income from Brown Girls Travel.
Yes, I still quit my job after nearly 20 years! Yes I gifted most of my personal valuables, sold a few items for pennies and trashed most of my stuff…why? To have the peace and quality of life that money just cannot buy!

I will be no longer valued by job titles, social labels or classified by the neighborhood I reside in or how much education I have. I will be valued for the women that I am and the human being that truly and genuinely wants to heal and love the world with all I have and will become.

My story is just beginning. My purpose has shifted and my heart continues to flow with love and light where ever I shall go. I am proof that what is meant for you will always be for you. I am proof that what goes down must come up . I am proof that hurt people don’t always hurt people. I am proof that love wins and that god loves me still.

This Brown Girl will change the narrative of my story not by saying watch me….but rather JOIN ME and let’s win and create a better life everyday together. It’s time.
