It all started when 2 monsooners randomly thought of visiting the Caribbean. Within just 12 hours of making an impromptu announcement on social media, their group grew to 6, the rest of whom met as total strangers and monsoon-ed together through Antigua & Barbuda for 2 days!

A story that started in 2010, with a bet, has become a journey that manifested into The Monsoon Diaries. This video was created to capture the essence of what it is like to “monsoon.” Monsooning is the concept of traveling ethically and sustainably, with limited time and money, to take advantage of what the world has to offer.
