Long Term Visas to Live in Spain: Project Expat

One of the top questions I’ve gotten about how to move to Spain and become an expat, is which long term visas I’m using and what the easiest options are!

Since my situation is a little uh, special (as a travel blogger I travel most of the year and can get away with a tourist visa), I decided to schedule a call with an immigration lawyer here in Barcelona to explain all of the options for long term stays, residency, and even citizenship!

See MyLifesAMovie.com for the full break down plus links to the documents you need, and the lawyer’s info if you want it!

Basically the options are:
– Non-Lucrative Visa
– Work Visa
– Student Visa
– Domestic Partnership
– Marriage

By the way, we have been in Spain now for almost 3 months and during the entire strict lockdown and State of Alarm! Usually tourist visas expire after 3 months however due to the State of Alarm, they have frozen all of them, so we get an extra free 90 days!
