In an overwhelming response, the United Nations General Assembly passed a vote on Wednesday to diplomatically isolate Russia by “deploring its aggression against Ukraine” and demanding Moscow withdraw its troops and stop fighting.

01:45:19 After the vote passed, eruptions of applause began, with 141 countries voting in favour, five opposing and 35 absent votes.
