Hey there, this was my first YouTube video! I started medicine at ST. GEORGE’S UNIVERSTY SCHOOL OF MEDICINE based in Grenada. The first year of my program was part of the school’s “Keith B. Taylor Global Scholar’s Program” (KBT) with Northumbria University in Newcastle UK. This meant that I was a St. George’s Student and Northumbria student.
So my first year was after doing the Foundation to Medicine program on the Island of Grenada, I then flew to Newcastle, met with a class of about 100 people and took courses at Drill Hall – a hall dedicated to the KBT students in Newcastle. We spent 4-8 hours there everyday, and typically another 4 hours studying in that building. I was in Drill Hall until I was sick of it! That’s part of Medicine though, You study until you hate yourself…..and then you do it some more!
