Commonwealth Secretary-General Kamalesh Sharma visited Sir Arthur Lewis Community College in St Lucia.

Mr Sharma engaged with students about small states issues and the work the Commonwealth is doing to champion the cause of small states.

The Secretary-General also had a Q&A session with students before making a donation of books to the college library.

St Lucia and the Commonwealth Secretariat are hosting the Third Global Biennial Conference on Small States from 26 to 27 March 2014.
