Local authorities are investigating how a Jamaican national came to be in possession of a forged Saint Lucian passport and birth certificate.
Prime Minister Doctor Kenny Anthony has used the incident to highlight why it is essential to phase out the old handwritten Saint Lucian passports, and replace them with machine-readable ones.
