South Australia has recorded two deaths, 2,009 new cases. One woman in her 40s died, which will be referred to the coroner and a man in his 70s in a residential aged care facility.

There were 2,009 new cases.

Mr Marshall said there were 27,991 active cases after 3,508 people recovered.

There are 294 people in hospital. 29 in ICU with six people on ventilators.
