On June 2nd, the 2016 Commencement Ceremony was held at the New Jersey Performance Arts Center. With 282 graduates, 23 dignitaries, AUA staff, and countless family members and friends, it was truly a magnificent occasion.
The Governor-General of Antigua and Barbuda, a former member of the State Board of Independent Colleges and Universities, a Harvard University Medical School Physician Educator, and a member of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists were among the esteemed medical professionals and speakers that participated in the ceremony. New York state congressman Eliot L. Engel was the keynote speaker and gave an enthusiastic speech to send our students off into the world, motivated to achieve all they’ve dreamed of and more. With over 200 Residency matches and the support of our illustrious alumni, we are certain our 2016 graduates are destined for success and we wish them all the very best.
