Choksi was perceived in Dominica, where he would have entered illegally by the sea route, but it isn’t sure. Initially, there were arrangements to hand Choksi over to Antigua, but Prime Minister Gaston Browne decided to hand him over to the Indian Government. Antigua and Barbuda Prime Minister informed the media agency ANI that Antigua would not endure him back. Further, Gaston Browne requested PM Skerrit and the law enforcement in Dominica to not return Choksi to Antigua, where he is liable to the legal protection and constitutional protection as a citizen, which the news agency reported. Brown also says that Choksi made a ‘Monumental error’ by entering the island boundaries.
