
Concern as police officers working hours tops 72 hours
The president of the police Welfare Association, Travis Chicot is concerned about the long working hours of police officers Travis Chicot says police officers are the only workers on the island who work in excess of seventy(72) hours per week. He says presently, police officers are seeking sick leave as a result of the toll the long working hours have taken on their mental and physical health.
