Also, President Biden recently announced the nomination of PLG Counsel Ur Jaddou as Director of the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). Some of the backlogs are due to restrictions imposed in response to the Covid-19 pandemic. But some also spring from pre-pandemic Trump policies or actions that the Biden administration hasn’t unwound. Last week, President Biden’s pick to head USCIS – Ur Jaddou promised to reduce visa backlogs during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing. and earlier this week, the US Chamber of Commerce has also raised concerned over visa backlogs and delays. and provided many of the valuable suggestions to mitigate this. In this video, we will talk about the concerns and suggestions pointed out by the US Chamber of Commerce to reduce the backlogs and delays from the visa processing system.
