The most powerful hurricane ever recorded in the Atlantic with winds speeds of 185 mph came within a few miles to St. Kitts and Nevis…..but some how we were spared. Damages on the island remain to be moderate as the eye of the storm passed north of St. Kitts. Down trees and poles are mostly what u see when you go around the island. Sad to say the storm eye wall passed directly over St. Maarten and Barbuda and they had catastrophic damage…there are many pictures circulating on social media of those islands that makes you think a bomb was drooped on some communities.
Take note that i do realize a grammatical error in the spelling of direct with the Hurricane information concerning St. Maarten
