The E-2 treaty investor visa requires the investor and applicant to be a citizen of a country with a bilateral investment treaty with the US which provides for E-2 status. While I mention Asian and Latin American countries during my video of course, there are also many European, Middle Eastern and African countries that have treaties with the US providing for the E-2.

The E-2 is temporary, and does not lead to the green card, but is indefinitely renewable as long as the treaty company is employing US workers and is profitable.
