Mystelics, Caribbean Youtuber from Dominica, reacts to Education Minister of Dominica Octavia Alfred lying on Senator Teacher Ernie John-Finn saying that John-Finn was the one who taught her the word ‘pampalam’. Octavia Alfred recently used the word to students telling them they should shake their pampalam to get money for their second term in school overseas. Alfred then blamed Teacher Erine for teaching her that word but Teacher Ernie denied ever teaching Alfred that word and stated that she has never used that word to anyone.
Gregory ‘Karessah’ Riviere also indicated that no one in the room in Marigot’s meeting took the phrase ‘pampalam’ to mean what it actually meant but a student called a radio show to say that this was not the case. In fact, the student said they and many others were shocked at the Education Minister use of the word pampalam and what she wanted them to do for the second year of schooling.
