US Immigration.
January 2022 visa bulletin is out. Instead of Moving the Employment and Family Visa dates, Biden’s Build back better Bill’s voting date is getting moved to 2022.
President Biden knows the answer for moving the dates: The comprehensive immigration provisions in Build back better Agenda, Yes!. Without White House and Congress steps in to address backlogs and speeding up processing. Green Card and Visa delays are going to pile up. We currently have more than 180 immigration bills in pipeline submitted by republicans and democrats combined. but they are not going to move any further without a unanimous support from congress. White house and President commented on immigration in Reconciliation and Green Card delays.
For Future family based and employment based category movements.
No Potential movement expected in coming months for f1, f2a, f2b, f3, f4 categories.
similarly for employment based category, EB1 is expected to stay current.
EB2 India and china may make forward movement in coming months, while rest of the world remains current.
Eb3 china and India dates may retrogress next year. Mexico, Philippines and Rest of the world may have a new final action date instead of being current.
for EB4 and Eb5, there will be slight or no forward movement respectively.
Earlier mentioned final action date projections for the Family and Employment categories indicate, what is likely to happen on a monthly basis through January. The determination of the actual monthly final action dates is subject to fluctuations in applicant demand and several other variables impacting processing.
