Why did I choose Mexico over places like SE Asia?

As some of you probably know, Mexico has been one of the most open places in the world with minimumal requirements to enter the country.

While it wasn’t the most difficult journey of my life, I had to fill out a health form prior to boarding the plane. I was also presented with a physical health form during the flight so if you had no chance to fill out the form prior to boarding then you’d get the physical.

Upon arrival in Mexico, I wasn’t asked about my bar code or phyical form.

What happened during the flight? We had to wear a mask during all times except during meals – well, only one meal was served which was kind of odd.

Traveling to Mexico during COVID is not as bad as it sounds and it’s really only at airports and during the flight that you need to wear your mask. There’s no requirement to wear a mask outdoors in Mexico.
