The immigration status that’s granted to an EB-5 investor, upon the approval of the petition, will initially be valid for two years. At the end of that two year period, the investor must petition for the removal of conditions. It’s only when those conditions are removed that the investor moves on to become a permanent resident with status valid in 10 year increments.
