As of July 2021, Malta had the highest vaccination rate for COVID-19 in Europe, with more than half of the adult population now fully vaccinated and 75% having had at least a first dose. In recent months, the island nation has also introduced revamped versions of its already successful residence- and citizenship-by-investment programs.
