In a recent video we explained how applicants for an immigration benefit who have been waiting a long time for the government to act, and who have exhausted other options for resolving the unreasonable delay, can sue the government through something called a mandamus action.

In that video we mentioned that the processing times published by the government are not the be all end all, and that you can choose to sue the government for a delay that is within the government’s published “processing times.”
