The Prime Minister is reassuring pro-cannabis advocates his Administration intends to follow through with proposed legislation to decriminalize possession of less than 30 grams of cannabis. Although itemized on the official order paper, the amendment to the Drugs Act was not debated during last week’s House Sittings. However, Prime Minister Pierre says the House will debate the proposed amendment at the next Sitting.
