PM Defends Move To Offer Temporary Residence To Dominicans

Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley has dismissed comments criticising his decision to offer temporary residency to Dominicans in the wake of devastation caused by Hurricane Maria.

The Prime Minister, speaking on a morning television programme via telephone, said their sentiments don’t represent the wider population of Trinidad and Tobago.

He pointed to the Fatima Old Boys Association as a better representation of Trinidad and Tobago’s view of the situation.
