Fourth-year medical students return to Grenada to present their research to clinical faculty and MS1/MS2 colleagues. These students talk their research projects during their MD program.
About SGU’s Medical School Research Institute (MSRI) Senior Medical Student Awards: Students who are in their graduating year submit an abstract of their research done in medical school, accompanied by any published abstracts, papers, posters or manuscripts in preparation. A faculty panel reviews the submissions and chooses the five best abstracts based on originality, scientific merit and level of involvement by the student. Each award recipient receives an all-expense paid trip to Grenada to present and discuss their research with faculty and students.
