I was diagnosed with Osteoarthritis at 24. When I was first diagnosed, I did not understand the seriousness of this disease. I continued with life, however, two years later, I am forced to do so. As the disease is affecting me at such a young age, I am currently on a path to “DO THE MOST.” If I ever get to the stage where I cannot walk and/or face complications with my mobility, I am going to relive life through the content that I would have created. I live on one of the world’s most beautiful islands, Antigua and Barbuda. It is known for Sun, Sea and Sand, an island surrounded by 365 Beaches. On this journey, I will be hiking and exploring all the exotic trails and breathtaking Beaches. The doctor would have recommended physical therapy and incorporating exercising on the beach and even bike riding. My island has many tours, historical sites, restaurants, hotels, and adventures, one day at a time I, will be exploring it all.
