Sherry Simon. Professor at Concordia University (Montreal). She is the author of “Gender in Translation” (1996), “Culture in Transit”(1996),
“Translating Montreal: Episodes in the Life of a Divided City” (2006) and “Cities in Translation: Intersections of Language and Memory” (2012)
and has co-edited “Changing the Terms:Translating in the Postcolonial Era” (2000). Her current research is on translation in multilingual contexts,
