Ryanair offer really cheap flights around Europe, and we used Ryanair to get from Liverpool airport to Paphos airport. To get from Paphos to Nicosia, it’s a simple bus journey there and back.

I didn’t spend a lot of time in Nicosia. I genuinely only went to cross the border and to have lunch as this trip was a Christmas time relaxation trip. When I crossed over to the Turkish occupied side, I wandered for a bit and couldn’t find much that interested me, so I hopped back over an hour or so later. I have heard there is a lot to see if you venture further out of the capital, but I just didn’t have the time.
