Japan has the worlds most powerful passport according to the residence and citizenship planning company Henley & Partners. Henley Passport Index ranks all the world’s passports based on data from the International Air Transport Association (Iata) and the firm’s research department. Japan stands first in this list with Visa free or visa on arrival facility for about 191 countries. Index prepared for 199 passports and 227 travel destinations across the globe.
Singapore is at the second place in this global passport index list while South Korea and Germany are jointly placed at 3rd place. Australia has hold the 5th place along with Denmark.
India is ranked 84th in the strongest passport index . Indians can travel up to 58 countries with Visa free or visa on arrival or e-visa facility.
Brazil is ranked 19th in this list.
Afghanistan’s passport is the world’s worst passport followed by Iraq, Syria and Pakistan. Pakistan’s is the fourth worst passport according to this report.
Worldwide, citizens were enjoying visa free or visa-on-arrival access to 107 destinations on average. Top 10 countries with strongest passport and Top 10 countries with weakest passport are as follows.
