Dino Rastoder a.k.a Dino R was born in Bar, the city on the coast of Montenegro. Since the school days, he was very interested in electronic music. After several years of visiting festivals, parties and exploring different genres & subgenres of electronic music, Dino decided to take DJing more seriously. After many hours spent in the bedroom, digging through limitless collections available online he finally felt prepared to start performing at private parties.
In 2014 with his crew, Dino started to organize private and underground parties all around Montenegro. They supported and joined an underground movement that started to spread throughout the Balkan region.
Dino’s musical taste finally formed during studies in the Netherlands, where he discovered the true underground sound. Together with his friend from the university founded a music organization DVRGNT. DVRGNT organization had a residency at the Magistraat Club in The Hague.
Prior to that, he had a prominent role in two other organizations that were active in Montenegro, Empty Headed & Totalitare Underground.
He is one of the founders of Kolektive Base, a music collective from Belgrade, assembled by four DJs, producers, and obsessive music enthusiasts. Sharing the same passion, but different background and experience, Kolektiv has been growing in the public eye through series of private after-hour events, taking place in their studio; and ‘secret location’ underground parties, scattered around hidden and unconventional locations.
Dino has performed with some of the most respected techno scene names such as Dax J, Jonas Kopp, DJ DEEP, Kobosil, THE HACKER, Etapp Kyle, Enrico Sanguliano, Victor Ruiz, Dario Sorano, Marla Singer, Steve Shaden, Jayzo, AMBER, DJ SAMA…
He currently holds a residency with his crew Kolektiv Base at Club DOT, Belgrade, Serbia.
His sets are long, dark, energetic, and enriched with subtle melodies, where he combines different techno sub-genres.
