There’s a number of factors you should take into account when going for your second passport.

This includes determining how much time you to wait for the second citizenship, how much money are you willing to invest and why do you need one in the first place?

You can go for a take-it-easy approach and wait to be naturalized, but it usually takes years of living in the country of your choice, working there and paying taxes.

Citizenship by descent (aka through your ancestry) is also in the cards for anyone with a diverse family tree, whose branches spread out to different countries.

It’s important to mention that this form of citizenship will probably require a lot of research and archive shuffling unless your parents or grandparents aren’t already from different countries.
