Overall, Germany is not an expensive country to visit, your required to have 45 euro per day and that’s 2600 PHP. … which is probably why its also a bucket list for backpackers.. The cheapest month to fly to Germany is January.

STEPS

1. Determine whether you need TOURIST or VISIT Visa
2. Go to the embassy website ( to look for the requirement checklist under the visa type that you choose and Collect all the documents and make sure you have a photocopy of each.
3. Book an appointment at VFS Global either in Manila or Cebu. They are the ones outsourced by the German Embassy to collect all applicants’ documents and biometrics.
4. Go to your scheduled appointment, submit your documents, have Biometric and pay for the visa fee.

Visa and Service Fee
Visa Fee – Php 4,500 (EURO 80)
For 6-12 years – Php 2,250 (EURO 40)
VFS processing fee – Php 960
5. Wait for the results and pray that you get your visa!
