Today I was vlogging on my night shift in the hospital as the gynaecology doctor on call.
On this shift I work between 8pm and 8:30am
We start off with a handover from the day team and continue by seeing any patients waiting for us in A&E. Occasionally we get bleeps from the ward about queries regarding our inpatients. The bleep goes of numerous times before we can finally handover at 8am – by the time I leave the hospital its nearly 9am.
