Thanks so much for your patience as I get adjusted to life in Arizona, wedding planning, work, etc! This entire video got deleted, so I had to redo it lol. This video is about our K-1 visa process from Dominican Republic to the United States. This video is longgg because we start from the beginning stages all the way through the approval, timelines, required k-1 visa documents, having a lawyer for the k-1 fiance visa, immigration timelines and guidelines, the visa interview, embassy appointments, medical and VAC appointment, our evidence binders, I-29F, DS-160, greencard, AOS, and MORE! Whew…are you tired yet haha. We hope that this video is helpful to those of you in the process or thinking of starting the visa process. We know how overwhelming and complicated immigrating to the united states can be, so hopefully this clears up some of the timelines. We also talk about the differences between a K-1 visa and the CR-1 marriage route. I somehow managed to cut this video down from an hour haha.

Visas are one of the complicated but often necessary situations to overcome when you are planning to marry someone from another country. If you have any questions about our own process, just comment below!

If this is the first video of mine you’re watching: Hi! My name is Mills and I moved from New York to the Dominican Republic alone in July 2017! I lived in Jarabacoa for a year, and am spent another year in Santiago de los Caballeros. I started this channel to document my experiences living abroad and as an American, female expat overseas, and would love for you to subscribe to follow my journey! My fiance, Christopher and I have just moved to Arizona after completing our K-1 visa journey, and are looking forward to this new adventure, and sharing it with you along the way!
