Andres Gutierrez, CS Global Partner’s Business Development Manager, was recently invited to the London Stock Exchange to share his knowledge on the industry with World Finance. After discussing the history of investment immigration, he examined how the strength of a citizenship by investment (CBI) programme depends on the client’s specific needs. He explained that the Caribbean jurisdictions with CBI programmes in place – such as Dominica – are more appropriate for investors who intend to do business globally, whereas European residency programmes are better suited for investors wishing to relocate to Europe permanently.
