Hi, Welcome to my studio!
My name is Angela Osorio, also known as AngieO. I’m a Colombian emerging artist living in New York for the past 20 years of my life. Art is my passion, I love painting artworks of spirituality, wildlife and women empowerment, a series of paintings I like to call “Apple & Eve”.
Ever since I decided to become a full time painter, new doors are opening up for me. Let me share!
I’ve been selected to attend Antonio Montes Artist residency, in Malaga, Spain this upcoming October 5th, 2019. And I’m really excited to take this trip, it’s a great opportunity to spread my wings. The Cultural association Antonio Montes is created with the purpose to promote Latino american Culture overseas. By offering an exchange in knowledge and experience while sharing artistic skills between artists with different ethnicity, having a group exhibit and creating art together, while networking, making connections and getting surrounded by the artistic feel the Spanish culture has to offer.
This is not only a big step, but an addition to my resume, which in turn, will create more possibilities of exhibiting on faraway lands and continue to realize my dream.
Through Indiegogo, I’m raising $3000 USD to fly me over, cover residency costs, art materials, transportation fees, and food for a 10 day stay.

Mi nombre es Angela Osorio, también conocida como AngieO. Soy una artista emergente Colombiana que vive en la ciudad de Nueva York durante los últimos 20 años de mi vida. El arte es mi pasión, me encanta pintar obras de arte espiritual, vida silvestre y el empoderamiento de las mujer, una serie de pinturas a las que llamo “Eva y la Manzana”.

He sido seleccionada para asistir a la residencia de artistas Antonio Montes, en Málaga, España, el próximo 5 de octubre del 2019. Y estoy muy emocionada de hacer este viaje, es una gran oportunidad para extender mis alas. Este no es solo un gran paso, sino una adición a mi currículo, que a su vez, creará más posibilidades de exhibir en tierras lejanas y continuar realizando mi sueño.
