VALOREM signed a deal to acquire a portfolio of 82 MW wind projects under various stage of developments in Greece with the aim to finance, build and operate them. VALOREM aims to be a significant actor in the renewable energy sector in Greece especially for wind, solar and hybrid power plants. The company feels that Greece is a priority market for them and they plan to actively participate at the country’s REN development, taking into consideration their experience, especially with hybrid systems for islands. They plan to consolidate their presence and participate in Greece’s efforts to meet the EU target as well as to reduce its electricity bill through the development of green electricity production.
