What is the EB-5 Green Card?
The EB-5 Green Card is an Immigrant Visa program of the U.S. Government that allows a foreign investor and his family to become permanent residents of the U.S. in exchange for making an investment into a U.S .business.
What is the process to apply for an EB-5 Green Card for the USA?
💡 STEP 1: Filing the immigrant petition for the Alien Investor with the USCIS
💡 STEP 2: Step two is applying for a Conditional Green Card via Consular Processing or Adjustment of Status.
Once the investor succesfully complete the Adjustment of Status or the Consular Processing, then the investor will receive a conditional Green Card for two years that comes with the same rights and obligations as any Green Card that is not limited to two years.
💡 STEP 3: Removal of Green Card Conditions so that the investor becomes a Permanent Resident of the United States without any conditions.
During this final step, the investor must petition the USCIS within 90 days prior to the expiration of the two year conditional Green Card to remove the conditions on the Green Card and become an unconditional permanent resident of the U.S.
