All students attending primary or secondary level of education in Malta and Gozo, whether they are state, independent or church schools, received the Heritage Malta Student Passport. This was distributed directly to the students at their school.

The Heritage Malta Student Passport provides free unlimited access for one student, and any two accompanying adults, to all Heritage Malta sites and museums (except for Ħal Saflieni Hypogeum). Each card will remain valid till the end of Year 11 (Form 5), that is, until the student finishes his / her last school term.
