In this video I share with you cost of plantain farming we incurred on the first 31,400 square feet of land. The agriculture business in Dominican Republic can differ to other countries. We have a term called “Veda” and this is a planting schedule you are required to go by when planting certain crops. The reason is certain crop attract a certain type of insect that can destroy you entire production, so to safe guard this farmers are asked to abide by this schedule. If you don’t they can and will come to your land and burn you entire production.
