Today’s video is video #2 in a series of 5 videos that talk about some of the most difficult cases for citizenship by investment that we have had and how we were able to successfully get the client citizenship.
For many of the citizenship by investment programs provided you have been denied a visa to a country where the citizenship by investment country has visa free travel then this can be grounds for denial for citizenship. We do know of other people who have applied through other firms who got denied on this basis that they had previously denied visas. In this instance we had an applicant from Algeria and for those who are unaware the Algeria passport is not very strong and you need to continuously apply for visas in order to be able to travel to different countries. This client had applied for different visas and had been denied for different grounds. We were able to successfully get the client Dominica citizenship and build a case to demonstrate that many of the visa denials were arbitrary and unfair. We also presented documentation to show that the client has a clean background and is someone of good character.
Depending on what citizenship program you are doing, provided you have previously been denied a visa to the UK or elsewhere we sometimes suggest re-applying for a visa under different circumstances to show that while you had previous visa denial that you are able to get a visa.
Provided you wish to do citizenship by investment and have had a previous visa denial you can consult us on your particular case and we can provide you with more information. You can visit our website at jhmarlin.com or send me an email at jennifer@jhmarlin.com information in the description below
