'Rum in The Ruins' Tour in Antigua and Barbuda: Sailing in Antigua

Rum’s seductive history is inextricably linked to the story of Antigua, to Nelson’s Dockyard and to the historic British military sites in the surrounding hills.

Rum in the Ruins is a weekly history, archaeology and conservation talk at the historic Dow’s Hill Interpretation Centre. Led by Dr. Christopher K. Waters, the Director of Heritage Resources at the Park, learn about the unique past of Nelson’s Dockyard National Park and Antigua while sipping on our specialty rum cocktail. Each week brings new stories and new adventures in one of the most picturesque places in the world. Sunset and two drinks included.

In this special edition documented for the virtual Antigua Sailing Week 2021, The Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority and the National Parks Authority focus on Antigua’s rich sailing heritage. Enjoy!
