We sailed 55 NM from St. Barts to St. Kitts and Nevis. This islands are a two island country in the Eastern Caribbean Sea. Both islands were formed by volcanic activity. And they are called “The islands the brush the clouds” We tied to a mooring ball in front of the 4 Seasons Hotel in Nevis. That day we had the same view of the people staying at a 5 star Hotel in the Caribbean.
The next day we kept sailing another 50 NM to Montserrat. This island is called the “ Emerald Isle of the Caribbean. This Island is part of the Lesser Antilles chain and British Territory. It’s Soufriere Hills Volcano erupted in the 90’s causing significant damage to the south of the island and dramatically changed the landscape. This volcano still active since last explosion you can still see the lava smoke in one side of the island. We anchored in Old Road Bay and explored this beautiful island.
