In February 2022, Darden Executive MBA students travelled to Madrid and Barcelona, Spain for a global residency. These required academic experiences of the executive MBA degree provide students with the opportunity to learn about doing business in a new culture and operating environment. The Spain global residency focused on giving students increased awareness of the cultural, political and socioeconomic drivers in Spain and greater European region. Students gained exposure to the challenges and opportunities of doing business in Spain through conversations with leaders, visits to different companies, and cultural site experiences.
