USCIS, DOS & DHS has updated a bunch of policies in the recent weeks, pertaining to Green Card, US visa, EAD and other Immigration benefits.
USCIS stopped applying old Public Charge Final Rule to all pending applications and New Rule is likely to begin.
DHS is ending temporary I-9 policy.
DOS Provides Guidance on Local Filing of Form I-130 Petitions.
USCIS and DHS publishes Policy guidance on EAD’s (WORK PERMITS).
USCIS Expands Credit Card Payment Pilot Program to All Service Centers.
Expansion of Interview Waiver Eligibility is also applied at the US consulates abroad. Department of Homeland Security, has temporarily expanded the ability of consular officers to waive the in-person interview requirement, for individuals applying for a nonimmigrant visa in the same classification.
