Kotor, Montenegro is one of those cities that is FULL of tourists! And it’s no wonder because it is one of the most breathtaking cities I’ve visited in Easter Europe. It’s best to explore this city at sunrise before the cruise ships port, otherwise you’ll be dodging people left and right all over the place. Here are a few things you can do in Kotor:

1) Enter the medieval city from 3 gates (North, South, and Sea Gate)
2)10 different churches and cathedrals, most of them inside the city walls
3) Have lunch at the Old Winery and order the local seafood
4) Hike up the fortress
5) Visit the Kotor farmer’s market, located right under the city walls
