Four teachers involved in the controversial SSC English paper setting have been debarred from paper setting, says Goa Board Chairman. These teachers are also debarred from other board assignments.

It may be recalled that there was a statement in an SSC English paper claiming that there are lack of opportunities in Goa and Portuguese passport is the right decision as no jobs are available without corruption in Goa. Later there was huge opposition from BJP and other social groups; however, Congress had backed the statement claiming it to be reflecting the reality.
