(1/2) MBBS/MD in USA after 12th | USMLE Explained | Yukti Belwal

How to study MBBS and MD from USA after 12th? This question has been asked a lot many times by you all and I have been thinking to answer you this for a very long time. So here is the part 1 of the video Explaining everything that you need to know about pursuing mbbs from USA.

First you need to take SAT by December and apply to a 4-year undergrad degree in US universities between Jan-Apr for their fall semester which typically starts in first week of Sept. For medical degree later, you have to do an under graduate program with science Major. In US, universities look for voluntary service also as a requirement to finish the undergraduate program. In 3rd year or by end of the undergraduate degree need to take MCAT. With the MCAT rank and undergrad GPA you apply for 4-year MD medical degree program admission. After finishing MD, take USMLE test for residency, complete residency in chosen field, and then optionally do a super specialization residency. Only after residency you are allowed to practice medicine in US.
Some universities offer an integrated 7-year undergrad along with MD, with stricter requirements in admission, as well as requirement to maintain certain GPA in undergrad to be admitted to their own MD.
